Standard Name and Purpose:
EN 1103: ***ermination of the flammability of textiles for clothing
This European Standard specifies a procedure to ***ermine the burning behaviour of textiles for apparel-other than protective clothing-before and after cleansing.
Test content:
(1)Number of specimens:Cut six specimens,each 560mm long and 170mm wide.
(2)Test produce:--flame application time 10s
--commercial gas:propane
--the first and the third market thread shall be used
Applying for EN 1103 requires the following process:
?Preparation of application ***uments (product manuals, etc.)
?Select a certification body
?Submit an application and certify (provide samples for evaluation )
?obtain certification (through certification, the certification mark can be affixed to the product)
